    Bill Bader serves as the Elder's pastor at St Paul's. He is a 1976 graduate of Northwestern College and 1981 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He began his ministry in Onalaska in 1990. He previously served as pastor at St John's Lutheran Church in Stanton, Nebraska. Pastor Bader and his wife, a teacher at Luther High School, have four children and two grandchildren. He enjoys biking, reading, travelling, and spending time with his family.

    Dan Olson serves as the outreach pastor at St Paul's and oversees the long range mission and vision of the church. He is a graduate of Martin Luther College and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. After his studies, he became the pastor of a church in New York City where he served for 10 years, until being called to Onalaska. Pastor Olson spends his time hanging out with his wife and five daughters (that's right, five!) He especially loves how the LaCrosse area provides great outdoor family activities. He enjoys hiking, fishing, tennis, and golf.

    Brett Ehlke serves as our pastor who oversees adult discipleship and elders. He’s especially excited to find ways to connect people and families to God’s Word! He graduated from Martin Luther College in 2006 and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2010. Before coming to St. Paul’s, he served for 9 years at a congregation in southwest, Michigan. Pastor Ehlke is married to Lori, an artist and art teacher. They have two boys and twin girls. They enjoy hiking, playing and watching sports, and traveling.

    Shane Krause serves as a pastor who works specifically in the areas of youth discipleship and public worship at St. Paul’s. He is especially passionate about serving the families of our school and about keeping the younger people of our congregation connected to Christ. Pastor Krause is married to his wife Nicole. They have three children: Eli, Marlie, and Carsyn. The Krause’s enjoy sports and the outdoors. Pastor Krause especially enjoys hunting, fishing, and downhill skiing.

    Dan Schoeffel serves as the staff minister at St Paul's. He graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He served as pastor in several congregations over the course of sixteen years before coming to St Paul's in 2007. In his free time, Dan enjoys fixing things in his free time, earning him the nickname, "Mr Fixit". He and his wife recently celebrated their 40th anniversary. They have five adult children and twelve grand kids.

    Wendy Schibbelhut splits her time between teaching eighth graders and serving as our church's worship coordinator. She has been involved in music all her life, and starting in high school began leading services on the organ and piano. Over the years, Wendy has been blessed to serve in many different ways: teacher of grades 1-4 in Niles, Illinois, English teacher at Nebraska Lutheran High School, Kids' Praise leader, 8th grade teacher at St. Paul's, choir director, women's Bible study leader, wife, and mother of four almost-grown children. She loves playing the piano, reading books, hiking our National Parks, and watching her kids' activities.
