Dan Olson serves as the outreach pastor at St Paul's and oversees the long range mission and vision of the church. He is a graduate of Martin Luther College and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. After his studies, he became the pastor of a church in New York City where he served for 10 years, until being called to Onalaska. Pastor Olson spends his time hanging out with his wife and five daughters (that's right, five!) He especially loves how the LaCrosse area provides great outdoor family activities. He enjoys hiking, fishing, tennis, and golf.

Brett Ehlke serves as our pastor who oversees adult discipleship and elders. He’s especially excited to find ways to connect people and families to God’s Word! He graduated from Martin Luther College in 2006 and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2010. Before coming to St. Paul’s, he served for 9 years at a congregation in southwest, Michigan. Pastor Ehlke is married to Lori, an artist and art teacher. They have two boys and twin girls. They enjoy hiking, playing and watching sports, and traveling.

Shane Krause serves as a pastor who works specifically in the areas of youth discipleship and public worship at St. Paul’s. He is especially passionate about serving the families of our school and about keeping the younger people of our congregation connected to Christ. Pastor Krause is married to his wife Nicole. They have three children: Eli, Marlie, and Carsyn. The Krause’s enjoy sports and the outdoors. Pastor Krause especially enjoys hunting, fishing, and downhill skiing.

Lydia Walter serves as our Operations Manager at St. Paul’s. She is an alumnus of Bethany Lutheran College, with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in Business Administration. She lives in La Crescent with her husband, Ryan, daughter, Amelia, and two Labrador Retrievers. Lydia’s favorite pastimes include singing, sewing, or doing DIY projects, spending time outdoors (camping, hiking, and touring Upper Peninsula Michigan or the North Shore!) and anything to do with animals!
